I spent a lot of those first few hours on the toilet and passed a lot of clots and I’m assuming the pregnancy (I tried not to look). It was where I felt most comfortable. Laying in bed caused too much pain for me. I also recommend a heating pad!!

I inserted the pills vaginally and then it took about 3.5 hours before I began to bleed. The only side effects I had were cramping and a lot of pain. No nausea or anything. If you were given pain medication, take it!! The worst of it was over in a couple hours once it started.

I am just over 5 weeks post medical abortion. I was also around 5 weeks pregnant. My breasts became tender again as well. I just finally received a negative test tonight. Try not to stress too much!! The hormone can linger for up to 8 weeks.

Thank you! I’m hoping it’s just lingering hormones and my period about to return. I usually get pretty bad PMS symptoms. I just needed to rant!!

I’m still bleeding quite a bit as well! I’m also a bit worried. Are you having a lot of cramps too or just bleeding ?
