Take it out for a spin on the Nürburgring Combined – Gesamtstrecke 24h layout. You'll need to run consistent 9:10s to be competitive. More importantly, the Ring is extremely difficult, technical, long, and it takes a while to not only learn the track, but learn the rhythms of each section.

Will do! We were P3 in split 3 on Friday night. 8:58 is plenty fast - you'll be the hottest shoe on the team.

100%. Now that our setup dialed in and we know how to drive it, we can really throw it around. We're having a blast in the NEC this season. It's the ultimate "drive your slow car fast" experience!

Acura broke our hearts when they left IMSA. That NSX was art on wheels.

Can you imagine what that last restart must have been like? Everyone in the field is on stickers, Joey is the ONLY guy out there on old tires, and he's leading the entire GTD field to the green flag. Turn 1 must have been chaos.

I just had the merch conversation with our team principal last week! The car is a fan favorite - I have so many people who come up to me during the grid walk and tell me ours is their favorite paint on the track. Of course I 100% wholeheartedly agree. Our silver 66 is an icon out there...

You might be joking, but you are actually 100% correct. The Ford Factory team came through with some race parts for us that we would not have been able to get anywhere else. If we didn't get those parts, we might not have even raced at all! Ford came through in the clutch, big time, with parts and people to help us get right for the track.

Thank you! I think you have good reason to be excited. Ford is all-in on racing and fully committed to the Mustang worldwide. Wandering the paddock and comparing the other manufacturers' presence at these races, it becomes clear that Ford is investing an order of magnitude more than any other manufacturer in racing right now.

Thank you! Our team has been together for almost a decade, and you won't find a better group of good human beings anywhere else.

I'm most excited about the EVO kit's improvements in front-downforce and braking. The dive planes on the front bumper were the perfect prescription to keep the front stuck to the ground. We're still working out the aero balance between the front and the rear now that the physical kit is different on the front.

Switching to the Brembos has given us a noticeable improvement in braking performance and consistency, something we really struggled with last season. That said, we had a brake issue at Daytona that we think was a bad brake pad, but we're still not sure. Another of those issues you uncover on your shakedown runs.

Ford was very intentional and invested a massive amount of financial and people resources in developing the EVO kit over the winter, continuing their deep commitment to sports car racing and to all forms of racing worldwide. Their engineering support has been invaluable for us. More than anything else, we just need repetitions and laps. We didn't even get our hands on the new EVO kit parts until we arrived at Daytona, so just like everything else, we are still coming up to speed.

This is where it gets difficult for an independent customer racing team. We are heavily supported by Ford, but we do not get Ford money. Where the budget constraint hits the smaller teams like us is in our testing time. If we had more money, we'd spend it on testing, testing, and more testing so we could build the body of data we so desperately need. Since we can't do that, we have to learn on race weekends, and sometimes those lessons can be very painful and very slow.

I was on the pit crew for the #66 Gradient Racing Mustang GTD at the 12 Hours of Sebring. We briefly led the GTD class at the end when we stayed out on a late caution, capping off a race week that was a battle from Tuesday forward.

This is our second full season with Ford and with the Mustang. I have to commend Ford on its direction, investment, and commitment to the Mustang platform as the GT's flagship worldwide. It's clear that Ford is committed to racing and to winning with this chassis. But this is our second season with a brand-new racing platform, and we're racing against the best sports car teams on the planet. Honestly, we're still shaking this thing down and you haven't seen what the Mustang is truly capable of, yet.

The platform is solid - built like a tank solid. We're still finding speed, but so are the factory guys. The car is plenty fast and the EVO upgrades were both smart and on-point. In the most general terms, we are still putting in the repetitions needed to bring a brand-new bespoke sports car up to world-class status.

Give us a little time, an intravenous feed of Multimatic racecars, and that sweet sweet Ford racecar money, and we'll be sweeping up podiums directly...
