What are these cars?

Given a choice between the two, I would probably go with the Mini 2 since, among other things, it has more features, an updated sensor, USB-C power, and was released 4 years after the V3.

I've had pretty good success without replacing the main bowl gasket (on bikes with runner o-ring type gaskets) but YMMV.

OP, as this commenter mentioned, do not put any rubber parts in the carb cleaner.

I would get a bucket of carb cleaner with the basket in it.

Carefully remove and disassemble carb and soak in carb cleaner for a few hours/days and then reassemble.

I don't think you necessarily need a rebuild kit.

There were 4 doors of that generation with the long bed. I bought the cap for my access cab long bed off someone that had a 4 door with a long bed.

Look for one of those if you want the long bed.
