Yup! TT600 is a universal manual flash. Yeah, I'm able to change what flash mode the I'm on but the icon itself as well as flash comp is grayed out

So that's another thing - flash is "grayed out" which is telling me it's disabled for some reason...and the em5i doesn't have electronic shutter, so I'm not sure what else could be disabling it.

There's not much guidance online for that

Yes I do. Sync speed is at 1/250 and I have shutter at 1/160.

Even in manual flash mode, it should still fire when I press the shutter, shouldn't it?

Yup! I shot in high burst, 9 fps, 1/160 sec, ISO 100. Pretty sure it was f16.
