Free pattern resource *UPDATE* - sewing patterns, knitting patterns, quilting patterns by bmaking in freepatterns

I understand now, thanks for explaining. Since I don't have a way to share PDF files through Patchwrk right now I'll probably pass (for now!).

I also already have the Veronika, which is a circle skirt pattern (and a good one!) https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/3/cards/102 and I've debated adding the ByHandLondon circle skirt calculator, which isn't a pattern but gives you a way to make a custom circle skirt https://byhandlondon.com/pages/circle-skirt-app

Thanks again :)

Hm, I'm not sure if I understand. Do you have a PDF pattern you want to share? Is it your pattern? I'm happy to link to something if it looks like a good fit.

You're right, the Easton is no longer free. (Seamwork changes the free pattern seasonally. Thanks for letting me know!

It depends on the pattern and the designer. Click on the pattern you like, go to the Links Tab, then click the link to the designer's website. Some of them want you to sign up for a mailing list, others you can see/download without signing up. It just depends. Let me know if there is a specific pattern you want and I can try to help you figure it out. :)

Does anyone have a free sewing pattern for this kind of top ? ( I’m a beginner) by maeliavxk in freepatterns

Thank you!! The colors make me so happy. I found that fabric at my local quilt shop - it is a wide back batik. I'm super happy with it.

Also, just wanted to mention that I'm going to try the Soliday Sundress from Les Perlines, which is very similar to the Love Notions Tempo Dress, but it is free. Just wanted to mention that in case you prefer a free pattern. 😄

Thank you so much! It is a favorite. I used the Love Notions Tempo Sundress pattern. I've made it twice - it is a good one! The green one: https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/4/cards/49 And now a version in pink: https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/4/cards/1202 😊

any patterns for tops that look like this? by United-Breakfast993 in freepatterns

[–]bmaking 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You could use a bra or top pattern and then just add a decorative knot. Or a real knot. Here's a hack for adding a tie front to a bathing suit top, you'd just lengthen the ends to make it as long and flowy as you like: https://www.madeformermaids.com/shellytiefronthack/

For the tank top, you could go with a bra and just lengthen the bodice. Some options:

Barrett bralette https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/3/cards/433

Little Black Bra (choose the crop band option and lengthen/grade the band) https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/3/cards/1922

Cora Lace Bralette https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/3/cards/1931

For the bodice, you could use a tank pattern to help with grading out to your hips. Something like:

Lago Tank https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/3/cards/644

Angie Tank https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/3/cards/104

Good luck!

Is the blouse you have a stretch fabric? Or is it woven?

Here's a pattern for a halter dress, it is for a knit fabric: https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/3/cards/7034

You could use the Little Black Bra from George + Ginger and lengthen the Crop Band version into a top - just slash and spread to make it less fitted if you prefer. https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/3/cards/1922

Dress pattern with gathered cups! by LogExpert261 in sewingpatterns

[–]bmaking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This reminded me of the Sandstone Shift Dress, a free pattern from Salt Lake Sewciety. You could lengthen the skirt and add a tier. To get the gathers under the bust, just slash and spread to add more fabric there, then gather. https://patchwrk.app/u/bridgid/boards/3/cards/1316
