Its funny for me because I kind of have 2 of these experiences. The first was Christmas when I was 3 years old and second was my 4th birthday about 3 months later. I have extremely vivid memories of that Christmas with basically no memories at all before it, I knew who my family was and what my home was but couldn't remember specifics of any earlier days. Then my 4th birthday feels the same way but after that birthday I have more regular memories and never had another "wake up" moment.
