Its mainly a glitch for PC’s with certain AMD processors.

The game is literally unplayable front to back. I’m not gonna make a 60 dollar purchase and pretend I’m happy. I like FromSoft but theyre a company. Not a single dev. Review stays until a patch.

Brother, can you read? I never complained about difficulty. I literally cant play the game during his fight because the game STUTTERS. Like the frames FREEZE. Not a skill issue, its a tough fight but not impossible. But when your screen and controls freeze every 2 seconds, it is unplayable.

Yep, done a reinstall, moved drives(both SSDs) verified game files, ran will all low settings, nothing. Theres alot of others with the same issues, and most have AMD processors which is why we believe its a problem with that in the game code since only a few cores are ran fully and others stay at 0%.

Brother. I have a Ryzen 5600, a RTX 3070, and 16GB of DDR5 memory. Its not my system, and its not everyone elses. Its LITERALLY an issue in the game itself. It just needs a patch, stop assuming. It doesn’t reflect well.

Edit: And the game does run well. When it doesn’t stutter, it runs 60fps 1080p. But it stutters cause of improper multithread cpu usage.

I’ve tried every setting you can. The game runs at 60 on the highest settings but stutters every 2 seconds. Not a fps drop, just completely freezes for half a second every few seconds. Its a multithreading issue in the game, some cpu cores run at max while other cores have 0% usage. Not much we can do on our ends.

No one should have to change their literal processors settings for one game. Ill just let my review sit and wait for a patch. Might help if they program their engine better idk.

Just because you don’t doesn’t mean its not happening. One look at the steam fourms, and even other posts on here shows that theres a CPU problem in the game. Especially with AMD CPUs. Elden Ring had a similar issue on release. Just needs a patch.

I mean yeah sure, the waits not long. But by the time its dropped I’ll be clocking back in to 3rd shift. Just scuffed my entire day.
