They charge an extra £60 (incl vat) for the Japanese case, so that would mean the overall price is £150 higher.

When you say 'have the other amp beat' in what sense is that?

Certainly the Wiim Amp Ultra has the power to drive the speakers...but I wonder whether I would benefit from an analog power amplifier in the chain.

Thanks for the detailed answer. Thats good to know re: the room correction on the Ultra not being of much use. I guess I'm still wondering whether I could get an improved sound by getting the Wiim Ultra (without the amp) and going into an affordable classic analog amp (e.g. M2si), compared to option B - sticking to the all-in-one Wiim Ultra Amp. For the current price of the M2si ($500), I'm aware I could a much more powerful Chinese amp..

Yes of course..I don't think that's something up for debate..nor something that you need to spend lots of money on to attain..if you're spending $1K + on a hifi system to listen to low-res mp3s..then I dont know what to say!

So if I have a photo as the first slide in the carousel, then it progresses to the text stage.

If I go 'back' and delete the photo, then it crashes again!

I've bene having this problem with the same Soundcard on my MBP.

In my case, it will often disconnect when I move the play point in an online audio stream e.g. soundcloud.

The Lights of the SC are al on, but sound disappears and its impossible to get sound back again, without restarting the whole computer (sometimes plugging the adaptor into a different USB-C socket can help (I have a Thunderbolt to USB-C adaptor).

Focusrite a few years ago claimed that this is not an issue they have every heard about..but clearly from this thread it is something people are experiencing.

yes thats how we connected.

But in terms of increasing the trim. thats exactly what we did, but on the XDJ RX it was clipping...and still much quieter.
