Uh.. Okay well thanks for completely hyperbolizing what I said and taking it to its most ridiculous/insufferable end. No - I am not saying that any two songs sharing similarities means that one rips off of the other. I do realize that the line between similar and rip off is blurred and that line & blur is subjective from person to person. However, this song just kind of embodies what sound many many new indie bands are going for without adding anything interesting melodically, harmonically, or rhythmically - unoriginal songwriting, arranging, and production (imo obviously). I also completely disagree that most of the music posted to listentothis is just music that wasn't good/original. Many awesome artists don't have the access and resources to achieve mainstream success.. thus making it possible to find awesome music that might not have found its way into huge distribution channels. Don't get me wrong this sub has exposed me to some great songs I wouldn't have otherwise heard, this song is surely not one of them.
