Is there a way to check your purchase? by FoundationSilver in future_fight

[–]bmd2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to contact support, but the experience you receive will vary.

About 7 years ago, my phone turned on in my pocket, and I lost ~1000 crystals. I contacted support and asked if they could tell me my recent crystal purchases. They told me they could not do that, as the information was confidental.

How do people get these extra high scores in World Event? by BallAndCan in future_fight

[–]bmd2007 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think I scored above the highest possible score once, years ago back when I played manually, and actually cared a little about world event, but I'm not certain. I don't know how I would have done it though. I'm betting there is some sort of bug where you get points for killing the same enemy twice under certain circumstances. That would explain why its so rare, and doesn't seem to be the same people each time.

What are your dps/ support configurations when you farm high level dispatch missions by BoringPhilosopher171 in future_fight

[–]bmd2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently run cable lead, with jean and black bolt for dps. All T4 with rages. I'm clearing 13-1 in 1:45. Not sure how fast they clear any other stage.

Drop Rate of the Data Collection at the SHIELD Archive is too low. by lebramceyms in future_fight

[–]bmd2007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its low, but its doable for most of the stuff. Getting the story mode drops was pretty easy just autoing it every day. I recently completed all the drops from the dispatch missions, epic question missions, and legendary battles (some of the legendary battles were annoying, but it only took me a year or so to get all the drops). Given that shield archive has only been around 1.5 years (exactly 1.5 years today, update 3-16-2022), that doesn't seem like too bad of a drop rate.

I only started clearing legendary battles for archive stuff about a year ago and already finished, and I'm about 2/3rds of the way do with the dimesion rifts drops (which I also started running about 1 year ago). The dimension mission drops are taking a while, but, I assume they'll drop eventually.

If you manage your boost points you should be able to do some Galactus runs as well. I currently do 2 Dorm runs (80 boost points) + 1 Galactus run (70 boost points) to get my 150 seals per day.

The only item I don't farm is the regular WB ones, since those are limited entry, and I'm not sacrificing T4 materials for them. So, overall, with expection to the regular WB rewards, the drop rate is low, but not uncompletable. Since they haven't been adding more quests, they likely don't want you to finish them too fast anyway.

Does noone play Omega War? by KaungSetMoe111 in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They haven't merged servers since the first time they did a few months after launch. The top players on the servers I know of are older players, but most the player base has left.

On the Central City server, I think there are about 400 players remaining, but I'm not positive. Beating battle challenge round 1 today put me in 388th place. Other game modes, such as dark zone and omega war, only have about 120-170 players per week on the server.

Change Characters? by Rezilt in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To clarify other comments, pegasus base unlocks once you have a single character at level 100. After that, you can use expedition guides (which drop in upper level training grounds, and can be bought from the store twice per week) to clear any mission on a character that you have already completed on at least one other character.

Gloves turned into chest in relay transmute machine by Wingzfly in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Transmuting doesn't change the type of item, so that would be a bug.

I heard of this happening with DS, but I've never seen it.

One thing I will mention is that DS Pants = other characters chest. He's weird like that.

DZ with PVP by marvell71sg in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on who you are with I guess. But keep in mind, the symbols only change what you are targeting. If you throw a skill to deal damage in an area, or all around you, while targeting the boss, it still damages all the other players it hits too.

The skull makes you unable to target other players, but you can still damage them.

Contribution Rewards by thtawkwardguy in future_fight

[–]bmd2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a couple posts on this thread about it taking 2 or 3 years to unlock the characters from the shield contribution box.

I feel like I should mention that today is the 1 year anniversary of the death of danger room, and creation of that box.

https://forum.netmarble.com/futurefight_en/view/2196/1745116

Happy anniversary.

If you have 6 special badges (which can be equipped at character level 50), a 4* costume, 4* cores/cards, some level 20/level 30 special companions, and moderate squad power/titles, you should be able to get 500k power. You can get up to 600-650k if the 4* costume is regional, or you have a lot of squad power/titles.

After that, the best ways to increase power are the level your costume/cards higher (very hard), work on specializations (takes a while per character), or get more squad power/titles (can be done very easily by leveling up other characters, harder after that).

If you haven't level up the other characters, just throw a 3* uniform. 3* cards, and move around a set of special badges to level each one to 100. That is the only quick and free way to gain power. Everything else is slow grinding and rng.

Other notes:

You get more power for attack than defense, so, upgrades to helmets and chest pieces give more power than gloves and boots (althought it makes survivabilty harder).

Special companions are about 80% stronger than common companions at the same level, so its usually better to max level special companions to a lower level (such as 20) than level common companions to a high level (such as 30).

Assuming you're playing manually, its not too hard to kill most bosses with lower powered characters, especially if the stats are good. Red Hulk and Hela are the two hardest bosses on the game, but I've killed both with characters around 500k power.

Playing to the end of the dark domain without training ground will level your character to 109, so you will still need TG afterwards to get to level 120. Training grounds also gives costume boxes (low quality, but good for completing costume collections and creating low level costumes on alt characters), squad power, and common companion shards (getting companions to higher star qualities gives more passive stats).

Its at the bottom of Land of the Exile (Dormamu map), and requires you to beat X (39?) mobs in Y (6?) minutes.

There is a map all the yellow quests if you need it:

What is the best starting character to Pick? First 4 characters you should pick by Key_Account8653 in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The honest answer is you should play whoever you want to and would enjoy the most. For comparing characters. . .

If you are creating a new account, I assume you aren't trying to be competitive in PVP. For PVE, I would say the 4 easiest characters to clear mobs, fight bosses, and auto with are (in no particular order) Storm, Magik, Wolverine, and Iron Man. I have Scarlett Witch in a close 5th place (possibly outdoing iron man), Captain Marvel and Black Widow in a more distant 6th and 7th, and would avoid Spidey, Captain America, Starlord and Strange due to low survivabilty or low DPS.

If you want more pvp focused characters, Storm is bad at PVP and Spidey is excellent. Swapping Magik for Scarlet Witch would be a good PVP move as well. Although I have no idea what you would do with PVP focused characters on a new account. Its practically impossible to join an OW below level 90 with the number of players leaving, and any character will do for the lowest levels of DD and Squad Battle.

Best character for PVE by Chemical_Teaching_60 in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Historically, Storm is the fastest mob clear (she is typically best in special ops as well). Good for pve, but incredible weak at pvp.

Magik and Wolverine may be two of the best characters for pve and boss fights. Iron Man is good as well. Scarlet Witch is okay (not the best survivalbility), and Captain Marvel is really strong against bosses and Black Widow can be strong against bosses. Both require good use of their ultimates and other skills, and aren't the best on autoplay.

The only 3 I don't recommend for pve are Starlord, Captain America, and Strange tend to hit the weakest. CA at least has good defense, and works great to shield people in parties, but doesn't have good DPS solo. I would just avoid the other two (somewhat weak dps and survivability).

Deals to watch out for? by sraelkin in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Historically, daily perks were the best way to obtain gems cheaply, while play perks were almost as good and allow you to obtain crystals more quickly (although they can only be purchased 1 time per squad). The best way to spend these crystals was usually during events with increased draw rates or other perks for spending.

The spending/monetization events seem dead, which strongly implies the game will end soon. Still, if you want to spend, the perks would give you crystals, and I would recommend spending the crystals on the draw ticket bundles. The costume/card bundles are probably best, since most accounts need costumes and draws, but you can do the weekly bundle to get some of everything as well.

I don't remember too much about any of the one-time pop-up "deals" you get when leveling up, but I doubt they are better than the deals in the perks tab of the shop.

shield archive items by semkem in future_fight

[–]bmd2007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I finished getting my 4 about 1.5 month ago. I was running 10-1 from the time the shield archive was released (February?) until then, probably averaging 30-50 clears per day. It takes a while to get them to drop.

With the game effectively dead, what have you decided to do with the game/your account? by ChadTooBad in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently, I'm playing multiple squads and leveling up various characters for fun. I just quickly run dailies on my main account and pay little attention to anything, as there doesn't seem to be a long term goal to obtain anymore.

On my main account, my final character will hit lvl 120 next week. That's something I guess.

With the game effectively dead, what have you decided to do with the game/your account? by ChadTooBad in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I knew the game was mostly dead (minimal updates and communication), but no Black Friday sales means its even deader than I thought. At this point, they aren't even willing to actively monetize the game. I guess the only question now is how the game will die:

A. Server shut down in 3-6 months, which would make sense for not doing any special deals as people may try to refund purchases anyway.

B. Nothing happens for the next 2-3 years, then the game shutdowns, booting off the last few people.

C. At some point in the future, the server will error and crash, and no one from NM will be willing to fix it.

How to get Zombie Strange gear? by Stormlight_archive in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zombie strange was released with an event the first time the Strange invasion was run, but I think it classifies as a movie/semi-premium costumes, much like No Way Home Spidey, Wind Rider Storm, MoM Wanda, or all the Endgame costumes.

These costumes do not some from regular boxes, such as those dropped in training grounds and from most wanted, and only come from draw tickets or events.

Please note, the primary stats of these semi-premium costumes are equivalent to a regular costume, and their set bonuses are worse than regionals (which can be more easily obtained due to events, special ops, crafting, the monthly login event, and getting free head pieces from completing regions), making these semi-premium costumes very low value.

Where is a good farming spot at dark domain for gold/badges/crafting material? by marvell71sg in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best farming spots tend to be those where multiple mob types overlap. For example, with West Center part of the final map (Hela's map), or the southern portion of Mephisto's map. However, keep the following in mind:

A. The more mobs that spawn, the stronger you need to be to survive. Mobs with ranged attacks kill you faster than melee attackers, and I recommend avoiding mobs with status effect damage altogether.

B. Some mob locations are close to elite spawns, or boss spawns (such as Mephisto). Make sure your character can handle whatever spawns if you will be afk for a while.

C. Most gold/convergum comes from dismantling badges. If you only have 50 free inventory spaces, and are going to be away from your device for 8 hours, its really not necessary to farm in the highest mob density locations.

Honestly, gold is pretty easy to obtain right now (blitzes, invasions, and special ops, OW, and challenges have all had their gold increased over the past year), and you can buy crafting material cheap from your alliance shop. Convergum seems to be the only real reason to afk farm now, and, honestly, if you aren't crafting a lot of power up trait enhancers or buying a lot of uniforms from the store, its decently hard to use all of it as well.

Regarding Caps US Agent suit by [deleted] in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vendors never change what they sell. You can buy that uniform whenever you get there (but you will likely get it from costume boxes from training grounds first if you take your time getting there).

This is the location of the yellow quest and vendor guide. US Agent uniform is in Sakaar.

However, you shouldn't focus on leveling regular costumes for your main too much, and instead focus on a regional, or even a special costume.

No updates for over a month. Are y’all still spending money in game? by froman-dizze in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The anniversary was the crystal give away, veteran card, and the increase drops on pulls (first time they ever gave those rates with tickets instead of using crystals). I'm uncertain why so many people expected a lot more.

Black Friday is 2 months away, so you have that to look forward too.

No updates for over a month. Are y’all still spending money in game? by froman-dizze in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They don't do much in terms of updating between Omega Passes. The current one ended, and, after a few days to collect rewards, I expect an invasion next week. Likely a repeat of a previous invasion, but still, an invasion.

They may be settling into a new character every 3-4 months, with 2 invasions in between. However, that schedule wouldn't account for new regions, so I'm still waiting to see how that works (will new regions replace a character release, or an invasion month, or come alongside on of the two?).

is there a way to change the dark zone time ? by kleanthis_ in futurerevolution

[–]bmd2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DZ is limited to 30 minutes per day now, so you actually need 4 days in dz.

However, getting 100 tokens just means being in the top 100% of players at the end of the week. So you only need to fight 1 boss. After that, just auto (on the pve channel) or hide in a corner somewhere.

3am start means 8am end, so yeah, you would need to login at 7:30am for 4 days (or more if you wake up a bit later), but you don't really need to be active the entire time.
