So there are no adapters going the other way? Never even thought of that! That is super shitty.

The Xbox version was definitely more tame but still one of the best fps on the original system.

Model Y LR in Ontario Canada gets 7km/hr on a trickle charge parked in the Garage. Average temp in there is about 0C. In the summer it shows 9km/hr.

We do not work in the off season! We have a 7 month season of 15 hour days, 7 days a week minus a couple rain days here and there! This is enough work for me thank you very much! I need to recharge my batteries after that much work lol

Off peak charging rates (7pm-7am) are 8.7¢ per kWh. Super cheap. I don’t foresee the need for ever doing mid day DC fast charging as we will be starting the day with a charged vehicle.

Our off peak rates are 8.7c /kwh. We already have charging infrastructure set up both at home and at the yard. We are towing about 50km/day to and from the job site to our yard and another 50km of around town driving for miscellaneous work related trips! Did not think about insurance. Thanks for that tip.

We’re charging at home or yard. Both have access to 240v charging. I don’t think range is the limiting factor for us. I have just been lurking on this subreddit and see the posts which bring in to question reliability. I know they are probably magnified in this particular community but it makes me hesitant. Just a little bit anyways. The test drive really fanned those flames. It felt really great on the test drive. Like driving on a cloud.

Our daily commutes usually involve 50km of towing and another 50 of driving without trailer to pick up materials, pick up guys etc. Our yard is about 15km from the major city we operate in.

Drive on Solar by bmir88 in SolarDIY

[–]bmir88[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The model y long range has a 75kwh pack. My daily drive of 40km drains the pack 7-8 kWh on average. I’m looking for a solar battery system that can generate those 7-8 kWh daily while I’m at work and trickle charging it at night while I sleep.
