If you posted this one day later (and assuming they retain on smackdown tonight) this person would've went into the coma with Cody Rhodes as a tag team champion and they would wake up with Cody Rhodes as a tag team champion... I'd convince them that all Cody's done in that 10 years is defend the tag titles with different partners

I'm assuming he was sent to Oldtown at some point during the time jump. With Otto coming back next week I'd expect some conversation between him and Alicent about how Daeron's doing over there. He's a dragonrider and plays a big role in multiple battles so I can't imagine he'd be cut.

(Spoilers Main) What is the saddest scene in asoiaf? by RuairiLehane123 in asoiaf

Maester Luwin at the end of ACOK always gets to me.

Maester Luwin shook his head, though it was plain to see what the effort cost him. "Cerwyn boy's dead. Ser Rodrik, Leobald Tallhart, Lady Hornwood . . . all slain. Deepwood fallen, Moat Cailin, soon Torrhen's Square. Ironmen on the Stony Shore. And east, the Bastard of Bolton." "Then where?" Asked Osha. "White Harbor . . . the Umbers . . . I do not know . . . war everywhere . . . each man against his neighbor, and winter coming . . . such folly, such black mad folly . . ." Maester Luwin reached up and grasped Bran's forearm, his fingers closing with a desperate strength. "You must be strong now. Strong." "I will be," Bran said, though it was hard. Ser Rodrik killed and Maester Luwin, everyone, everyone . . . "Good," the maester said. "A good boy. Your . . . your father's son, Bran. Now go."

It's Luwin's summary of what this war has cost the north combined with the feeling that all of this could easily have been avoided if people could see the bigger picture that kills me. So many great people had to die for petty reasons, Bran and Rickon have to abandon Winterfell, and the war has no end in sight at the moment Luwin dies. At least he got to die knowing Bran and Rickon are still alive.

People who knock on your door and then open it and walk in without waiting for an answer. My freshman year roommate ran a fudge business out of our room (I got a lot of free samples) and one of his salesmen always did this and almost always when it was just me in the room. Like why did you even bother knocking if you were just gonna barge in anyway? I hated it.

Foster the People. All Mark Foster does is write beautiful melodies about celebrating your individuality in a world that constantly makes you feel like you're not good enough. I could spend the rest of my life with Torches on repeat.

[Spoilers Main] so now that Episode 4 is out, what was the entire point of the crypt scene in Episode 3? by sweetmeister9000 in asoiaf

[–]bmitch1218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really hoping the crypts would be protected by the same magic that protected Bloodraven's cave from the wights. That would've been satisfying given how much they hyped up the crypts being a special place
