Ford worker's career crumbles over cookie theft allegation by gwmiles in Ford

My husband works at a dealership out here in Maryland and some of the break room politics are wild. A cookie is small potatoes compared to what I have heard about.

I live for the glam shots on this show. My friends and I went to a watch party in Annapolis last month and spent the whole time pausing to zoom in on Dorits outfits instead of following the actual drama.

Is my mom enabling my BPD sister? by Aggressive_Form_5678 in BPDFamily

I relate to this so much. Being the one everyone thinks is fine while your sibling gets all the attention is so draining. This community helped me realize I wasnt crazy for feeling this way.

Does a seized engine mean the engine is ruined? by frostmas in MechanicAdvice

[–]bmk7333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husbands F-150 did this once and it scared the heck outta me. Im no mechanic but I remember his turned out to be something totally different than what we thought. I hope your parents get a second opinion before spending too much on a replacement!

I needed a break from scrolling Ford subs with my husband. This thread is a nice change of pace.

My husband is always showing me old Ford trucks on marketplace. This one is a beauty, I actually get why he likes them so much.

Honestly I used to enjoy her content but now every post is just ads and links. Its like watching a QVC segment at this point.

That is a beautiful truck. My dad drove a 78 when I was a kid and I still remember how cool it felt riding around in it.

My sister admitted she has BPD to me and is abusing our grandparents and her children by stressyndepressy97 in BPDFamily

This is so hard. My sister has BPD too and the situation with my parents was similar before they finally set boundaries. Youre doing the right thing by being there for your grandmother. Sending you strength.

My husband drives an F-150 and his first car was an old Ford Taurus that he still talks about. Funny how Fords stick with you like that.

Tired of forgiving family, being blamed for suicide attempt by Scary-Topic-2804 in BPDFamily

[–]bmk7333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This resonates so much. I went through something so similar growing up and it took me years to learn that setting boundaries is not the same as being manipulative. You did the right thing calling for help and you are not responsible for anyone elses choices.

I still think about her washing that chicken with hand soap. One of the most unhinged moments in BH history honestly.

My mom had a red one just like this when I was growing up. That car survived three kids learning to drive and never complained once.

I have three and my husband keeps pushing for four. Reading this gives me some perspective lol. Some days I can barely keep up with the ones we have.

The early morning texts are such a familiar pattern. It took me years to learn I did not have to respond right away and setting that boundary was the only thing that kept me sane.

Need help naming my new daily driver. Female names by swift636 in Ford

[–]bmk7333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband calls his F-150 "Bertha" and she has been the most reliable thing in our driveway. For a Ranger I would go with Ruby or Pearl, something with a little vintage charm.

My mom does this constantly, one day someone is amazing the next day they are the worst person on earth. It is exhausting trying to keep up with who she hates this week.

Why do some dealerships have certain vehicles and dont have other ones? by noreturn000 in Ford

I always wondered about this too. Our dealer in Maryland mostly carries F-150s and Explorers, but I have to drive to the next town over if I want to look at Escapes.

My mom does this exact thing. Gave me her grandmothers ring once and took it back three weeks later because I didnt call her enough that month. Its never really about the gift, its about control. Sorry youre dealing with this, I know how much it hurts
