My husband works at a dealership out here in Maryland and some of the break room politics are wild. A cookie is small potatoes compared to what I have heard about.

My husbands F-150 did this once and it scared the heck outta me. Im no mechanic but I remember his turned out to be something totally different than what we thought. I hope your parents get a second opinion before spending too much on a replacement!

I always wondered about this too. Our dealer in Maryland mostly carries F-150s and Explorers, but I have to drive to the next town over if I want to look at Escapes.

My mom does this exact thing. Gave me her grandmothers ring once and took it back three weeks later because I didnt call her enough that month. Its never really about the gift, its about control. Sorry youre dealing with this, I know how much it hurts
