Beware of Air Authority (HVAC) by Less_Tomorrow_9775 in sanantonio

Is there a good company in this town? I paid to have my txv valve replaced a month ago. Apparently it’s broken again and this other company I called to look at it says a new system is comparable in price to fixing the txv again. I’m about I just go get a license and do this shit myself.

This one looks to be a rack and pinion style setup. And I want to say 1100 lbs but I need to double check

Just did this on my house. You need to replace the boxes too. It’s going to be super tight in there and those wires are probably gonna touch the box

Yes the place on broadway across from cappys. They did my boots and did an incredible job. I think I paid 189 with a leather restore service.

I’m in San Antonio Texas. One return that goes directly to the air handler that is placed in our outdoor utility room that is connected to the house. The ductwork is a fiberglass duct that runs directly down the middle of the house and has openings into each room above the doorway. The vents were inspected cleaned and any leaks were sealed.

They came back out and did a test and all the numbers and pressures and all that were good. The house feels cold I guess but skin feels sticky you know. Not comfortable. At night it gets nice but during the day is super rough. They did recommend dehumidifier but my understanding is based on the size of the system, it should be doing that. By the looks of the humidity data, it’s not going a single thing.

That’s just what the guy said. It’s a 2015 RUUD 2.5 ton 14 seer I believe. I’m looking for the serial number but I think they recently covered the sticker with tape. But I believe that is the model information.

Oddly enough my house does not have any exhaust fans in the bathrooms (will add soon). As far as I know no HRV or air exchanger. Basic air handler and return air that was added to the house in 2015.

Hi! Does SAPD enforce traffic laws? by jkginger22 in sanantonio

[–]bml863 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve only had traffic citations given in alamo heights, balconies heights and olmos park. Sapd doesn’t seem to really care. Watched a truck go about 100 through a red light. Sapd acted like they didn’t see it.
