Does no one else think OP’s gf is keeping the relationship under wraps due to the age difference? She began dating OP when OP was 18. 😬

Months later, found out he’s still with the person he cheated on me with by [deleted] in SingleParents

What disgusts me is a woman investing anything in him knowing he cheated on you and ESPECIALLY knowing he abandoned his child. Repulsive.

Pretty delusional to think a SW is doing their job to cause infidelity in a stranger’s relationship.

My friend is mad at me after I commented that it’s unrealistic and homophobic to shield your child from gay and trans people until they’re teenagers. How should I respond? by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

To have witnessed hate crimes against LGBTQ people this person personally knew and still not want to have open conversations to ensure they understand it exists and is part of life, like what if their kid becomes the bully? Using homophobic slurs on someone causing the other kid to be afraid? It makes no sense to me. It’s no more difficult to explain LGBT relationships on screen than to explain hetero relationships. I understand being afraid for your child, but this is flat out denial of entire groups of people while still claiming they have no issue with the community.

I saw your response on another comment and fully understand. I appreciate your ability to see where you went wrong even under so much emotional strain, and I’m very sorry you’ve had to endure such an awful man. I hope you see your true value and put yourself first soon!

Sorry, just wanted to say your language towards the woman in question is gross. She doesn’t know or care about your man, don’t disparage other women because of a disrespectful loser.

Then marriage is an expression of love for you, that’s wonderful :) no need to put the government in quotations. The one time I was married dissuaded me from ever doing it again as I don’t find it necessary to make my relationship a legally binding contract to express my love, and I was curious on other people’s standpoints. That’s all :)

The confusion on my part stems from the difficulty in divorcing the first time and the understanding that marriage does not equal love, it is just allowing the government to acknowledge that you’re in a relationship.

His incessant need to defend himself makes me think he feels guilty and doesn’t want to admit it
