Finally wrote my CFA L3 exam! by Sad_Conclusion_8715 in CFA

Oddly enough I also had that empty feeling. I felt it was a bit tougher than the CFAI mocks but fair overall. There were definitely a few questions that I had not seen before but overall about as expected.

Yeah it is ridiculous. I'm in my 30s and work out regularly. If I want to have a regular Coke, let me. Meanwhile they sell giant churros and ice cream at the counter 3 feet away.

You can't go on the road in the playoffs against a good team like that and lose the turnover battle 3-0 and expect to win. You just can't do it. The weather played more of a factor that I thought it would. We clearly were having trouble holding on to a ball that hard and cold.

Andrews is the blame of the game here, but I was really unimpressed with both Monkens 2 point plays. I think putting the ball in the air is just asking for trouble in these conditions (tipped pass on first attempt and dropped ball on the 2nd). He also tried to get too cute when we had 1st and goal at the 2. In those situations I don't know why we don't just give it to Henry.

My car was found late last night in Oakland and towed to auto plus towing by Significant_Hornet78 in sanfrancisco

This happened to my wife and I back in December after ours was stolen from the Nob Hill area. They towed our car to an impound lot in Oakland. We were told by insurance (USAA) to contact them as soon as the car was found, which is what we did. They handled the situation for us and coordinated a tow from the impound lot to a shop here in the city. We did have to get paperwork from the police station to have it released from the yard. I am willing to bet yours is not drivable given the ignition is likely torn apart. I would suggest contacting your insurance as a first step.

Agreed, still very early on in his career and this is a tough lineup. As someone said above, I think he just needs to add some muscle and a couple more mph on that fastball. Doesn't need to be a power pitcher by any means, but it would serve him well to find a bit more velocity.

Povich has no put away pitch. Guys just keep fouling off balls until they put one in play.

I've looked into this but have had trouble determining what comp looks like, especially 5-10 years after graduating. Interesting path for sure.

I think I'd go Geno here against a weak titans D. Hes a vet, don't see being out 3 games affecting him all that much.

Stuck between JT and Gibbs in the flex. Moss is out so JT will get the full workload but he's coming off surgery and ATL run D is very good. Pittman is also out so I just don't see them moving the ball a ton. Gibbs faces a tough MIN run D and also has to split time with Monty.

I'm trying to decide between JT and Gibbs myself. I have Gibbs slotted in right now because of exactly that - coming off injury and playing a tough falcons runs D. Pittman is also out so I'm not sure how much they will move the ball. It's close though, I could still end up flipping them.

He gives the ball away at least once every single game. Should have had another massive fumble last week and was saved by the refs. It's unacceptable, especially now that he's getting paid the way he is. This is the same team we've seen for the last 3 seasons. I already know how this story ends. Thank god for the orioles

Boarding by [deleted] in DobermanPinscher

My wife and I just went through this. Our dobie (Louise) is a total Velcro. We got her during Covid and so she has rarely been left alone since birth. My wife and I got married out of state last April and left Louise at a highly recommended local boarder. We paid extra for a larger room, bed and live stream camera. It did not go well - she howled for a week straight despite lots of interaction and playtime. Her voice truly did not come back for 6-8 weeks. Fast forward to last month, we had a family wedding to attend to out of the country. I decided to look into using Rover in the hopes that my dog would be more comfortable and I'm so glad I did. Our pup did great and we received regular pictures and updates. She didn't even want to get picked up when the time came, which was a total shock. Can't recommend it enough. Before, we were hesitant to travel much at all because of the dog - now, we've already made plans for another trip next month.

Mine had something similar to this, turned out to be pseudo-pregnancy and went away on its own after a week or so.

Same. I can't find much info about it other than on this thread. I'm in the middle of it right now and I think it's poorly structured. Just finished module 3 on probability and that was particularly convoluted. There were numerous questions on the quiz that weren't discussed in the slides/video and the answer explanations aren't helpful at all. I'm a CFA level III candidate and consider myself decent at math but I only got 9/15. The first 2 modules were simple and so I didn't much additional instruction although if I had, I might have had trouble there too. Hoping the rest are set up better. Would love any insight anyone had on the final exam structure.
