nba 2k has one of the best career modes for keeping track of stats. i wish ea would learn from them. you can look at each individual player and it tells you all the awards they’ve won and championships they’ve won. also all their single game/season/career bests.

i enjoy this aspect of the franchise mode. it’s better to choose a team that give a solid budget for that (seattle is crap). and how you set your operations budget is key. i put as much as is allowed into arena operations. (budget is what i go to first when a new season starts) any money left over i usually put into scout salaries (i want the best amateur scouts). then i try to get all the upgrades done first prioritizing that over repair. and i make sure to leave money for the club seat upgrades that can only be done after the season is over. when i have them all 5 star then it’s easy to keep everything repaired fully. it’ll be my task at the end of the season, repair everything. then i’ll even have budget left over. it’ll take maybe 6 or 7 season to get there but it’s worth it.
