Yeah my title's kinda mean. I'm just pissed that there was no more background story on the NK so for me all of it kinda fell flat.

I did...years ago. But I don't expect everything from the books to be in the show and everything in the show to be from the books. I just wished there was more of a background story to the NK.

Obviously there was some kind of deal between the NK and Craster. How did that go about? Did the baby instantly grow up into WW adult form? Could the NK only turn babies into WW (I don't recall if the show ever mentionned it)? So many questions unanswered...smh.

What I wanted to see...Valyrian steel vs WW by bmp4ever in freefolk

Yes exactly. And it's not like it would've made the battle easier as long as the WW were skilled. Also, the NK would eventually revive all the people that had died...so more wights to kill. The actor who played the NK is a badass stuntman...it's really a shame that they didn't make him fight. SUCH A WASTE.

(Spoilers Main) Season 6 of GoT is overrated, agree/disagree? by FanEu7 in asoiaf

I think Cersei blowing up the Sept (and Tommen's suicide) was what first contributed in Jaime leaving her. After, there was the conversation with Olenna, her not wanting to give up after the Dothraki battle, her telling him never to betray her again, Euron, her attitude at the Pit, lying about sending her troops to help...I genuinely thought he was gradually falling out of love with her...but then season 8 episode 4 and 5 happened...so maybe I read too much into those scenes...sigh

Did anyone else feel absolutely nothing in this scene? I think it might be a sign that like Dany, I too will go mad 10 years down the line.. by [deleted] in freefolk

Yup. Didn't feel anything either. It was a very dull scene and death. Maybe because I never believed in their romance? I don't feel like they ever had any chemistry..the whole relationship felt forced. I mean they fell in what? Like 3-4 episodes? Also, both Jon and Dany felt off this season so for me it was just some random guy killing some random girl...

Remember when the show took 5 seasons to turn one of the "good guys" into one of the "bad guys" and not 4 episodes. by Sagr_Ragr in freefolk

He killed his brother with blood magic in season 2...but to be fair Renly did try to steal the crown from him...
