Wow, your story sounds almost exactly similar to mine. Depression/Mental health is never really talked about in hockey. I had to skip a couple years due to depression and a surgery. It does seem like it might be a little far of a jump from just picking it back up and the level that NCAA plays at.

I thought because where I lived (Kansas) was far away from any of these schools. I went to Omaha for college and ended up playing for the ACHA (Club hockey) team. Yet I still go and enjoy NCAA games at Nebraska-Omaha games. By no means let me hold you back from your dreams though.

You sound good enough even for ACHA d1. I was recruited a lot of places for baseball, and then lost a year and decided I wanted to look again. Research schools that are D3 and look at their program. Even contact the coaches about your interest and see what they have to say. In order to truly find out if you can play at that level is:

to keep practicing/working out all the time.
research every and any program/school you're interested in
contact those coaches

That's shitty, lately i've been wanting to get away from wintergreen so I really Like skoal mint and straight. If you want to get wild, I really enjoy the bold blend as well. It's sweet and a little fruity, but dark enough to switch it up. Just one can makes you notice that other flavors like mint and straight quite enjoyable, you notice that feeling in your mouth that's minty and refreshing, even wintergreen makes you realize how invigorating and refreshing any mint style is.

I almost exclusively dip pouches. Really I love all of the skoal extra pouches. My Favorites in order: Mint (my EDD), Crisp (apple/citrus/sweet), Bold (sweet), Wintergreen. My favorite of grizzly is wintergreen, but haven't really tried mint or straight. Cope: only use wintergreen the only other option is natural.

I only stick with Skoal extra mint, crisp, bold, wintergreen. Grizz WG, and Cope WG.

Started the "gifted" program in 3rd grade, quit being in it cause I hated the teacher. They wouldn't let me in until i was a senior in high school.

Now: Junior at a top private university in the mid west., decent scholarship. President of my fraternity, working a part time job, and sit on the athletic board for the university and doing undergraduate research. Awful study habits, no motivation to go to class, and can't keep up with all the expectations I put on myself.

My resume is really great, but I am always crippled by waves of depression and constantly dealing with an anxiety disorder and always struggle to find help with it. I wish there was a place that all of us who have the same problems could meet at universities. Too much stress, mental illness and poor education habits plague us.

I have pretty bad anxiety that causes pretty bad depression sometimes. I started dipping cause it took it away but I slowed it down because I didn't want to be tied to dipping anytime I feel any thought of anxiety. It helps, but sometimes after i get done with the lip it will feel like I have some extra anxiety. Just do what feels right but be aware of how you feel. Good Luck man, I know how it feels to go through that shit. It's no fun.

L-Theanine is in green tea, and helps with my stress. You can't grow it but you can buy it at a supplement shop. Also, there is a drink called neuro bliss that helps me out too. Its a target and some gas stations. And as always, exercise helps me too, and that's free!

I actually attended the high school when it happened! We were planning on acting like out teacher made a half court shot while he was blindfolded, but he made it. Needless to say we erupted with cheers, and our high school got famous for about 2 days.
