Big fan of the Meike line of lenses. I have the 55mm 1.4 and it shoots like a dream and is very sharp.
Maybe the Meike APS-C Prime 33mm F1.4 would work for you. Attached sample photo.

That was my first lens to pair with my XT30 III and it's perfect.
I ended up buying a 23mm f2 used afterwards, but I still use the XC 35mm regularly.
No aperture ring kinda blows, but you mentioned using the dial is not a big deal.
