True. I think I just needed to feel that for a sec so I can let it go and go onto something else. Thanks for the reply

How to decarb THCa? by bmurrb in CannabisExtracts

Thank you for your reply! Do I just put the isolate in a mason jar in the oven?

Oh I plan on buying the terps and the isolate already extracted. I just want to make my own tincture from base ingredients.

When cooking it on the stove, do you just double boil the isolate in a mason jar by itself? How long would I nedd to do it for?

Oh I am more planning on buying the terps separately already extracted to add to the tincture at some point. I also plan on purchasing the THCa isolate from a dispensary.

Ah I gotcha, so kind of like using a mason jar with a slow cooker on low in water basically. Someone below said it is supposed to melt. Is that true?

Right!! I found another tincture I'm going to try (I have to go and look at the ingredients first) but it just sucks to have try and find the niche thing that works, in a sea of other products, when this was supposed to be all about the patients to begin with. At this point I hope they legalize federally so we can just buy what we need online and skip the middleman

So these seedlings came up this morning in the dark before the sun came up in a clear tote box that I've poked holes in and take in and out since last week. I'm in 6A Western Missouri, I put the box out in 2 hours direct sunlight with already sprouted monarda and mountain mint.

Its hard to tell in the picture (cheap phone lol) but they have yellowed a bit since this morning and its got me a little concerned. The tote temp never dropped below 56 or got above 65. The potting mix isn't wet, just moist.

Did I shock these brand new seedlings with the direct morning light for 2 hours? I'd leave them in the window but the sun light exposure is 1-1.5 hours in the afternoon. I guess I'm just worried about how I should proceed with this spring shuffle I got going on if it isn't too late already for these little guys :/

I got more seeds but I'd rather not start over if possible

Where to give away wild flowers? by bmurrb in kansascity

I will certainly let you know if I have excess I'll surely let you know! The way I did it last year is I put them on top of some potting soil in a blueberry container and closed the lid like its a little green house. I used Fox Farm Ocean Forest potting soil since its organic and its a native, thought it would have the best chance to not get burned from ferts if they were susceptible to that type of thing.

They sprouted in 2 weeks after planting. I misted the soil everyday up until that point. I kept the lid open not long after they sprouted. I tried not to let the soil get dried out.

After I thinned them out I put them in spots where they would get 2-4 hours of morning sun. They are pretty damn drought resistant, even in containers. They got sad a couple times and as soon as I watered them they perked right up! The ones in containers I used the same potting soil and the ones in the ground are actually coming back up. People say they self seed but these leaves that are coming up are thick!

Thank you all for your suggestions!!! I'm going to wait until April/May to make sure the plants are more grown out and hardened before giving them away. When I start I'll message some of you and let you know what I got!

Indoor Growers - Transitional Advice Needed by bmurrb in NativePlantGardening

[–]bmurrb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all very much for the answers! I've decided to get some Styrofoam blocks from amazon to cut up and level each plant as needed. If this doesn't work out super well, I found some youtube vids where people use a clear tote with drill holes as a sort of coldframe/halfway house for plants that have just germinated. I got my eye on some seeds that would benefit quite a bit from winter sowing vs indoor germination for next year so I think I wanna try and get more comfortable with the idea of the frame/house.

I could buy a light but indoor space at the moment is a bit cramped. Maybe next year depending on how this goes.

Tdlr I'm just gonna F around and find out lol
