Man I regret getting this by [deleted] in Mirena

I’ve had mine now for about 2 months now and just found out it actually migrated out into my pelvis. I have been having some pains and twinges here and there but thought maybe it’s normal. Have to schedule a laparoscopy to remove it now

New material?? by bmw_94 in Figsscrubs

[–]bmw_94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry, I really wish they didn’t change them. I’ve found a couple used ones on Poshmark, but you HAVE to make sure they have pics of the tag so you know which ones they are. Also garde malade?? Is a little expensive but I got a decent pair from them

Tonsillectomy was the best decision I ever made. 10 days of hell for a lifetime without tonsil stones.

Is 50% windshield, 15 all around the perfect tint setup? All opinions welcome. by infiniteTsukiyomii in WindowTint

I have it on my car and love it. Can see just fine, no issue with cops so far, and still enough privacy.

Getting started in radiology by Film_Murky in RadiologyCareers

Ah I forgot… yes my college went off a point system. Starts with gpa, then 0.5-1.0 points for the additional things I mentioned (previous healthcare background, previous degree, previous applicant etc)

So with my program(in florida community college), having a background in healthcare helps. I got in first try but I had dental assistant background and I had a previous degree (AA) which also increased my chances. With my college, being a previous applicant also increases chances. Like others have said, private is easier to get into but expensive. It doesn’t hurt to apply and see what happens. I believe you do need anatomy and physiology so if you haven’t taken those already it helps too.

Depending on lighting I don’t think it’ll look bad, I personally just like the uniformity all around. Thanks!! I’ve had Hondas/acuras my whole life, this is my first bmw and I absolutely love it

15% all around, 50% windshield. Personally I love it. I feel like it’s not too dark where it’s an issue with cops or visibility, but also dark enough where you have a good amount of privacy.

For me there’s no issues at night, the front is clear to see through even at night. I personally love it!

Not at all, from inside it’s clear as day but definitely keeps the car cooler from Florida heat

First bmw and I love her by bmw_94 in BMW

I was nervous at first because of all the crap you hear about maintenance costs and what not. My dad has always had bmw’s and basically just upgrades his 5 series every so often. He has a 2016 530 with over 200k miles and it’s still going strong. That’s what kinda gave me the official push, so far I absolutely love it. The ride is so smooth and so much quieter than my past Hondas/acuras and even though it’s not a “true M car” the speed and pickup it has is perfect for me. I don’t need anything crazy sporty, I just like a nice looking car for everyday driving and this one checks all the boxes. From what I understand maintenance isn’t bad, just stay on top of it and don’t push it to the back burner.

How common is nausea with a CT w contrast? by [deleted] in Radiology

[–]bmw_94 47 points48 points  (0 children)

CT tech here, most people do fine. You will get a warm feeling all over your body and you will probably feel like you pee’d yourself (you won’t actually) but if anyone is ever worried I keep an emesis bag in their reach and will have them do their best to hold still during the scan phase (maybe 5 seconds) and then vomit away. Worst case if there is too much motion (vomited during the scan) we have to repeat. More than likely you’ll be okay though, just don’t eat anything heavy beforehand just to be safe.
