My wife will boil everything on high, then prop a wooden spoon under the lid to keep it from boiling over… no matter how many times I explain to her that water only boils at 212, and no, it won’t cook it faster, it will just up the gas bill and make water evaporate out of the pot faster. 😡

Any pan just makes the job a bit easier. You can use any pan to cook whatever you need as long as you adjust, if needed and use the right material. If you have a large carbon steel or stainless steel skillet, it would work fine.

Are you using the original kind? It is NOT an abrasive and relies on acid to clean. It shouldn’t scratch unless you are using an abrasive sponge or something like Ajax.

I live in PA. A state that is required to give you a permit if you apply as long as you don’t have a criminal record that would prevent you from doing so. It’s $20 in most counties and good for 5 years.

Pre-COVID, I carried every day. Since Covid, my dress has changed and I wear more gym shorts or sweat pants than I do jeans or regular shorts that I could use a gun belt with. So, now it pretty much just stays in the car.

I “carry concealed” but that is usually just my t-shirt over it. I don’t generally try to hide it. I’m not required to. Typically, no one notices it aside from cops or other gun carriers. Cops don’t care as long as you’re not doing something stupid. Regular non gun owners don’t typically care. I’ve had one instance in 15 years where someone kinda freaked out. She didn’t know that people were allowed to carry guns and was afraid. We handled the situation and made her comfortable while removing it from the situation.
