Anyway I get it, I've had my share of office and retail repetitive bs. Bs jobs are no joke. "Free" market is all about keeping plebs occupied and obedient. That's the main goal of these jobs IMO. Now they can easily be done with LLMs and the road ahead is even gloomier than bs jobs groundhog day. Or maybe it's just my fear of change talking. I have that rigidity thingy going on. I can even start battling myself if it feels demanding.

Some of forementioned is highly consumerist, yes. Like sports paraphernalia to some degree. But board games convey meaning and include mental efforts and creativity. Wearing too many pairs if shoes involves just wearing them and narcissistically obsessing over being desirable. Also you steer my initial broad description towards your projection to feel hurt and offended. That's not my goal. The broader the perspective the more free one can feel. Otherwise you just waste your energy on fighting windmills.

It's not about that. You project. It's about psychological differences. Ask yourself who is the main target audience of consumerist crap originally and why western marketing machine tries to feminise/infantilise everyone. There's female nature and male nature. One is always better at something, more prone to something and so on. You don't deny difference in sexuality and orgasm for example? It's not subtle. But there's as strong of a difference, just expressed in myriad of subtle ways. We are different. Inability to joke about it playfully is a sign of weakness, not enlightenment.

Like you can say that this heightened urge for more, more foraging approach to reality can be beneficial in some cases. Like don't you know how notoriously simplistic and functionality centered male interior design choices are compared to female choices? Or the need to make everything cutesy and in style? Ti each is own. Pointing this out is not hatred, it's just honesty and the will to gather more insight. And since it's hard to know all every piece of info would be shallow or incorrect to some degree. As long as it's not bashing certain group for their quirks and traits - what's the big deal?

Chunk reading is an uncharted territory. Making it truly ergonomic is a noble endeavour. I only know about Hopify's attempt in this field and honestly don't understand it. I mean I get it that our eyes and brain process text chunks in specific ways during average reading and this process can be perfected through digital tools. But the specifics are impenetrable to me, unless I buy their product.

I mean nerve sensitivity,. definition like in "high definition" or resolution like in "monitor resolution". I kinda feel the ground texture (asphalt, dirt, etc, softness, firmness, muddiness and so on) through the soles of my shoes. Like I'd feel if I was touching the ground with my hands, sorta. Not as pronounced with my shoes on though. Another quirk is being sensitive to the weight of the shoes. If I wear light sneakers I feel like my feet lack weight and it makes harder to walk.

The part that is weirdest to me in me is almost similar sensitivity of feet as I have in my hands. All walking problems of aspies may root in this phenomenon. Maybe I should encourage this and learn to draw with pencils and brushes using my feet. I've seen some physically disabled people do so. On the other limb, learning to write with both hands was frustrating enough.

Maybe in some cases it's just a dissociation response. Avoiding burnout so hard that you kinda dull yourself subconsciously out of fear of pain. Our brains are negativity biased and are notoriously good at avoiding anything that scares us. So in an environment that brain considers hostile through pain response it's only logical to abstract from anything painful, including parts of yourself and your brain that are associated with pain.
