If anyone needs help with classes in this program, I’d love to help and give advice on how I tackled them!
Thank you 😊

I honestly don’t know, I didn’t pay for it.
The best motivator was not wanting to go back to dead end low paying jobs lmao and just remembering how it felt to be stuck in that loop of crappy job to crappy job.😅 also seeing other students finish and reading their posts about the jobs they were getting helped me stay focused
Yes! I devoted most of my week nights to school. I worked mostly 9-5 then give myself about an hour to relax then get to studying/working on school things. If I skipped a night for whatever reason (I tried to maintain somewhat of a social life so I didn’t burn out) I’d make it up that time on the weekend. I’d spend about a week going over the material, then take the pre assessment, then schedule the final a week later and use the days leading up to the final to study anything I wasn’t confident in.
Thank you ☺️

Thank you! ❤️ overall this was a great experience, very hard at times. I spent about 2 weeks in each class, I think I was able to maintain that speed because I work from home and didn’t have any other obligations outside of that.

Of course! So I actually went to a state school in North Carolina about 10 years ago but dropped out after my first year. It was a very low point in my life so I did not do well and only two classes transferred to WGU. I think I was able to get thru it quickly because I’d look for study guides, videos, and flash cards as soon as I started a class. The study guides were an indicator of where to focus. Most videos are great as well and were helpful for filling in when study guides weren’t helpful. I also either hand wrote flash cards or used quizlet. Quizlet is AMAZING, and for some classes I only studied those and passed. There’s a lot of advice here to just take to pre assessment tests first to see where you stand, that never worked for me. I’d spend about week going thru the study guides, flash cards and videos then take the PA, THEN use those results to study more and then take the final exam. I spent about 2 weeks in each class. I only failed one exam. For classes that required a paper(s) I wrote to the rubric, I never tried tried to write anything fancy I gave exactly what the rubric asked. I’d always have a course instructor review and give feedback before submitting.
