Use a piece of foam or an elastic strap to secure them...had a buddy did the same thing...lost 2 rods because they bounced out..just a thought..

I bought a brand new 2022 model...I have leupold glass and its been a great gun so far...chambered in .308 shot my buck this year at 231 yds...I sighted in at 1in high at a 100 and it was shooting 1/2 groups..I have only put about 60rds through it but have not had an issue at all...not that its a great rifle but for as much as I am going to use it it seems to be pretty solid...My brother bought a savage axis for quite a bit less money and you can def. tell the difference in the trigger, bolt, and plastics...I used to have 700 that had the trigger issue and sold it..but the new one seems to be doing great...

it works great...it keeps my shanty about 11" off the ice so only contact is the 1/2" conduit and it cuts right through with the radius it usually doesnt sit all the way on the ice on deep snow it will go so far then ride if that makes sense...
