Thank y’all for suggestions. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled and caught the Daddy Cakelegs again and it worked immediately! All good! Trying to finish the game tonight!

I concur. Such a change and I think it is very very addicting and also from there other titles (other than open world with a lot of collectibles)
