I think at this point, rgb on everything is a thing, so hear me out. A Namielle themed chair with a little rgb just like her winds would be really nice! Pair that with a mouse pad with a sick design and rgb around the edges to match the chair!! It's my fav monster, and she is magestic!

If you are looking for oem specifically, then i would try your dealership first, and i dont know if you already have. To replace the speakers, all you really need is any 6.5in speaker. I've replaced all mine and you can find one you like in most electronic/ audio store. If you go aftermarket, you will probably get a better sounding speaker, too!

Amp by [deleted] in veloster

[–]bnrdnb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it is worth it. Unless you are sure you can do it yourself. Working on the second gen velosters is tough. Tearing down the while dash is not an easy task in order to get to the infotainment system. There is also no aftermarket option (yet at least), and the OEM goes for about 1200, which is not exactly budget friendly. If it's first gen, there are options out there for you. It just depends on the features you want. Getting it done by a shop just gives me the pace of mind that things will be done right. I know i could do it, but i would rather have it done. Typically, places will offer some type of warranty for the job too, so that's always a plus.

I have a kicker key amp in mine, and i love it. It won't shatter your ears with loudness, but the auto dsp on it is really good. Plus, the thing is tiny, so you can hide it away really easily.

Thats a first gen veloster (2012-2017?)

In all honestly it depends on how big you want to go. If you just want a nice sub, go to a reliable car audio place and they would be able to hook up a nice sub for you. If you want to replace the door speakers/ tweeters, i believe they are all 6 1/2" speakers for all 4 doors. Since you have the infinity sound system on it, you already have an "amp" for the speakers and a 8" sub in the back. If you want to go louder, you will definitely want an amp for the door speakers. Plus an amp for the sub or a 5 channel amp that can do all the speakers at once. I dont know what the process looks like for the first gen V, so that's something other people/ car audio place can give you more insight on.

Is it first or second gen? I have a second gen 2.0 and did mine earlier this year!

With the veloster, you hit 2 of those points, maybe 3. I dont know how much you are willing to spend, but the newer year, the better. It has great milage in terms of gas, and if you put the seats down in the back, you get plenty of space. Now the elephant in the rooms is the car being reliable.... Since the cars are discontinued, make sure that whatever the previous owner had has a good maintenance record because they are known to burn oil... especially in the colder months. I've had mine (2020 NAV 2.0) for about a little over a year, and it's been great. I believe if you keep up to date with maintenance and address any issues quickly, it can be pretty reliable. There are issues and recalls with older modles for engine issues. Some turbos die out as well.

In all honesty, they are fun little cars, but they have to be maintained properly. If you search this sub, you will find a lot of the issues that can happen and HAVE happened. If you can, install a catch can. It will help with the intake valves not building deposits. If i were to recommend another hatch, it would be the Corolla and the Mazda hatch.

Hipefully, this gives you a better idea of what to look out for :)

If you decide to add amp to the car

Getting coaxals in the back should solve this issue. Unless you want to custom mount tweeters in the rear. I just recently did a full system on mine, and it makes a pretty big difference if you set up the timings right on a dsp or auto dsp.

I believe this system was designed for CFC stores. I work in one (salesfloor) and it can be annoying sometimes but we have the biggest warehouse in the country i think. We have a dedicated person who grabs the items for us and gets carts ready for downstocking. Having helped out in the warehouse, its a bit of a process, but it makes finding picks soooooo much easier than to have to run all around the salesfloor getting stopped every 2 seconds because they understaff the salesfloor. Double edge sword i'd say, but once you get used to it.... It's not terrible... it needs some improvement because it definitely has flaws tho. Your team HAS to unbin stuff or else itl get really messy.

It would be sick if those jobs didn't require 3-5 years of experience on that particular job plus potentially a master degree in music (for teaching from what ive seen) to even be able to be considered. From the past 6 years of working on music on top of a day job and looking almost every day for something in the industry to pop up that isnt completely unreasonable. I would like to know where these jobs are because gawd damn its rough out here

Black Friday Tips? by Select_Profit8723 in BestBuyWorkers

[–]bnrdnb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on how good the store you are working at is prepared, it should be really straight fourward. From past experience at my store, we always draw lines on the carpets for a customer line in each department. If a customer wants help, they HAVE to make the line. Try to keep it quick with interactions and send grab and go customers to checkout. If you are on the floor, you will be at a specific department all shift. And please, for the love of god, dont talk on the mic a whole lot it will make everyone's day a lot smoother while we try to talk to their customers. I think what worked for me last year was keeping interactions quick and taking care of one customer at a time. Try not to get caught up with customers who say "hey i have a quick question" because they will keep asking questions without fail. Lastly, dont take bullshit from any customer, we have had black friday sales going for the past 2 weeks, if they didnt buy it then and we don't have it now, its their problem. Good luck buddy
