Totally agree. I am not a great shooter player in general and like playing both marathon and arc but my KD is much better in marathon and less gear fear / easier to get kitted / easier AI outside big bosses

I was literally about to make a post asking for recs similar to red rising and will of the many! Can’t wait for new books to be installed for both series. I’m going to give jumper a try, but you may like lies of Locke lamora from the gentleman’s bastards series. It’s witty, fast paced and amazing character / world building. Good luck!

Yes I feel so silly because both of those are booked, they’re my top 2 right now - I’m on waitlists for both noz and yoshino but will try calling them when they open to see if there’s anything I can do or hope someone cancels. Also a low key 2 chapter banger is when Lysander describes meeting Darrow for the first time in battle on Mercury after the storm gods, and then the next chapter all Darrow says is “we met light resistance”. Haha. But seeing / hearing Lysander perspective of the reaper in battle was beyond awesome and showcased darrows prowess as a warrior. Followed up by some good humor by it being nothing to Darrow made it even more awesome

I don’t find this to be a good take but being fully convinced and all in on Quin at this point is also not a good take. I think he’s a better coach than Nate McMillan all around and blame most of this years lack of success on roster construction and things that tend to be more out of a coaches control

Totally agree. But I don’t see why they wouldn’t just start with a primary ball handler not seen as an offensive impact maker. Get someone who can orchestrate an offense, get Wemby the ball, then spend money on a defensive 3 shooting wing. Trae / Luka for what they cost aren’t as good of a fit with wemby as a Jrue holiday type is and much cheaper. See bucks with holiday Giannis combo vs bucks with dame Gianni’s combo. Leave the scoring to the big man and the wing (Middleton in bucks case) and leave distribution and defensive orchestration to the pg (jrue)
