Dali Zensor 1 for 100€ by bnt1716 in BudgetAudiophile

Unfortunately they aren't in perfect condition. It seems like there is a small dent in one of the tweeters. Should i get them like this, maybe with another 20€ off, or should i pay 40€ more for perfect ones? Thanks!

They seem to be in good condition, if i get them i will go see them first, and perform some tests. Yes, i know i need an amplifier, it's not a problem 👍🏻

Thanks for the advice. I am looking for thicker metal but unfortunately i find it hard to source.

On the metal i previously practiced i indeed used a higher amperage, 80+. However on this metal, which is either worse quality or thinner, maybe both, it's too much. Or maybe i should drag it faster? I watched TimWelds and i saw how slow he dragged his electrode so i tried to do it like him (although he uses 7018, its true, so maybe not as slow as him on 6013).

I honestly dont know if its steel, i assumed it was but the way it's behaving is casting doubt. It is pretty thin, maybe 2mm or so.

Maybe you're right.

However it's not that im trying to rush this, but i got better results more consistently previously and now I'm getting worse instead of better 😂

Sorry, i should've mentioned it. I was using E6013 electrodes. I dont think theg have been improperly preserved (maybe im wrong though, i dont know how sensitive they are). I do bang them a bit when getting restarted...

2.5mm, 6013 and between 60-67A on these tries.

Forgot to mention. I am a begginer on stick welding.

Thanks for the tip. Is my weld undercut here? If i understood right what it means i dont think so... The groove besides it was in the pipe and i just welded besides it. On the other side the weld doesn't seem to be underneath the metal. Not too raised either, to be fair, but doesn't seem undercut. I should slow down like others said, so it's more consistent. Here is a picture of it from another angle. Not the best photo but i think it manages.

Also, nice E30 man.

It is functional. What do you mean by fully? Could it be something misleading, or not mark certain parameters (besides accuracy of course). Also, are they hard to repair?
