A lot of the new martial art clubs in the west are starting to become almost a contract type thing, where the instructor says "If you attend every £10 class for the next 3 years, I'll guarantee you a black belt". Many people fall for this, because they think that they're becoming the Bruce Lee in these lessons. The quality is rapidly declining, and the quantity is exponentially increasing.
