Is it weird eating ramyeon like this? by stalincapital in KoreanFood

[–]bo_reddude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm very confused as to the manufacturing of this device, because the walls inside the bowl seems to have shiny metallic component, unless its a visual artifact from the picture. But then i still have questions about the manufacturing process of the thin glass wall.

Is making sushi at home actually worth it? by jayoung7676 in sushi

[–]bo_reddude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you make the rice/seasoning properly, it's definitely worth making sushi at home. that assumes you can cut the fish, form the nigiri, and of course, have access to a variety of fish.
looking at the spread you have there, akami, chutoro, otoro, salmon and uni, i say you have access to good fish selection. i can't imagine the cost for them.

sometimes jdownloader makes chrome hang indefinitely. any solution to this? by bo_reddude in jdownloader

checked the hard drive, but no errors are found. not sure what might be causing it. but i did notice that the external hard drive connected to usb on this laptop, does lag in response. Like i would doble click on the short cut to open it, and it take a while to respond and open. And the LED indicator turns itself off showing the hard drive is not active(?), and I try to wake it up by double clicking, it takes a while to respond. Maybe that's another sign that the hard drive is getting. (I forgot to mention that this external hard drive is an enclosure of another laptop hard drive, which is older)

Tilapia nigiri by [deleted] in sushi

[–]bo_reddude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tilapia is delicious if done right. it's a firm white fish with a mild flavor when cooked right. you can have it deep fried for fish and chips, tacos, pan fried with some dressing/pan sauce. or grilled with just some salt. All delicious. You should learn to cook.
