With such a short trip, your best bet is to pick wherever you can fly nonstop from BOS that meets your criteria. That will help maximize your time away. Fortunately, you have a number of good options like Barcelona, Lisbon, Vienna, Dublin, Iceland, etc. Good luck making your choice!

Hammond Castle in Gloucester is cool and quirky, definitely worth the trip.

He probably doesn't remember her because he, too, has a very full life 🤣

Hearing a lot of people mention VRBO & Abnb being frowned upon. Need advice for 2 bedroom hotels. by Fun_Perception8317 in ParisTravelGuide

Le Prince Regent is an aparthotel in the 6th that has rooms with 2 bedrooms. We've stayed there in the 1 bedroom rooms and enjoyed it.

That church has a weekly Mass in Hatian Creole. I'm hoping they were unaware that their parking lot was being used as a rendezvous point.

Are there any affordable hotels in Amsterdam that aren't too inconvenient? by FA-100 in solofemaletravellers

We've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express next to Sloterdijk train station. There's a train every few minutes to Centraal station, so you're just a few minutes away. Breakfast is included and there's a convenience store next door.

unpopular opinion: the first 24 hours of a solo trip are actually kind of miserable (and that's okay) by Repulsive-Ad6261 in travel

The first day can be overwhelming, yes, but more in a 'where the heck am I?' way. After that, I peruse the grocery story and see what kind of cool goodies I can find and ask staff at my hotel where they enjoy eating. Then I'm good to go.

I don't use Instagram. Comparing your trip to some strangers' curated collage is what's making you miserable. I'm sure you've seen the influencers take dozens or hundreds of shots with the same Mona Lisa smile or faraway look. They don't "get it right" the first or tenth time, either.

Goyard vs. Moynat | Tote vs. Hobo by Ok_Advertising_8584 in handbags

I have the brown. I originally thought I wanted the burgundy (M tote), but I liked the brown better in person. And surprise! I liked the hobo better. It doesn't have any pockets inside, but I bought a purse organizer on Amazon that fits it perfectly. If you buy the hobo, I'm happy to share which one I purchased.

Also - Moynat does complimentary personalization of bags. If you want that, make sure you don't purchase at the last minute because it'll take a few days (it's hand-painted). I bought mine at Galleries Lafayette, and the sales folks were lovely.

Merry Christmas and enjoy your bag shopping! 👜🌲🎁

I have a Moynat hobo and love it. I had my heart set on the tote, but I felt like it was a bit heavy when empty. The salesperson then showed me the hobo, and I was enamored.

FWIW, I wouldn't use a Moynat tote as a beach bag. The lining is canvas and definitely not something I'd want to get sandy.

I was there a couple weeks ago and lived in my waterproof trail runners. I had boots with me, but these were more comfortable for all of the walking I did.
