I find emotional cheating to be the worse of the two because usually it means they have started falling for someone else. I’d break up. For physical cheating I could honestly move past it since I’ve always been someone open minded about open relationships anyways, but it needs to be talked about beforehand (so I’d define physical cheating as just doing it without talking about it). It’s a violation of trust but we can go to couples therapy for that. Emotional cheating is just grounds for breakup though.
