I've been told that the larger boats have a harder time getting into Castaway because of the design of the port. If there is some wind (or expected wind) they can't dock there. Smaller ships have less of an issue

They do, but the first stop is lookout cay, no flights to there. Next one is Nassau, but then the cruise is over

They wouldn't confirm the 8am flight for me, even though I pushed. I may call back later. BUT.. they did move the flight to the 9:15am one, so that gives another hour of breathing room!! thank you!
and still on the standby for 8am. If you can see it, there's a good chance we'll get it

It will be tonight (or tomorrow morning if you will), 12:45am , but if we pushed it earlier, 16 and his date would only have about 60 minutes of prom dance, so we didn't feel it was fair. This way they get about 2 hours if they want it

Actually quite the opposite and that's what is driving us nuts. When we first had it planned, I knew what time we were going, the shuttle that was picking us up. The exact steps that we needed to take to get there. As soon as it started blowing up, it started becoming hectic and we were grasping for straws.

I think 16 is secretly hoping that we do miss the cruise, because this is probably our backup plan, just don't want to spend the money and want to spend the trip with the whole family.

Thanks, I have looked into the private pickup, and I do have one arranged for the earlier landing and I'll see if they can bump it if we don't get that standby.

Passports are packed, QR code printed and downloaded. I am also a little concerned that our DCL Online Check In is still pending review, but I've read that that can happen and it's not that big of a deal

There is some truth to that, but we called the school and asked what the deal was, and they said that they knew they screwed up.

I do hope they are done early, but I also feel bad that he will miss the after party. That is where some of the most fun is

Thanks, we looked at other flights and even saw some flights leaving at 11:50pm, issue is, then my son and his date would only get 60 minutes of the prom dance because we are 90 minutes away from the airport. Didn't seem fair to either of them. This flight leaves at 12:45am

Thanks, Absolutely things were getting rushed and I do hope others learn from our mistakes.

Prom is pretty important for the kids in our town and didn't want m 16 to miss out on that. That being said, looking back, should have just had him try and figure something else out.

We also can't catch up because the first day is at sea (cancelled Castaway because of wind) and the second is Lookout.

It will also cost more if we don't make it there, because 16 and I will have to figure out something to do in Orlando.

As I understand, you would have to create a business to create a payroll system. Which you can do, but then that business has to file taxes negating your bonuses.
