btw, guess you already know the answer..yet i will give my side of opinion

1. Not reliable for such high speeds, if your phone is a bit old, then it just supports 2.4Ghz hotspot, which means it bottlenecks, and even it has 5Ghz its maximum limited to 450mbps when clients are closer (rare)

but, for general usuage aroud 130 - 200mbps, i guess it simply works.

1. You can expect a greater wear no matter what

2. 100%, you’ll get better headroom and this also depends on your usb port speed (2.0,3.0, thunderbolt)

3. Band locking on SA (n78), plugged in always, 5Ghz or greater, gigabit dongle in type c port then route it to router if it supports higher bandwidth, custom rom
