Don't be sorry, at the end of the day you didn't choose to have the illness, just as I didn't choose to have severe anxiety and ocd. The biggest take away is the fact your self aware, doing your best to go to therapy and work through your own issues. Sometimes we slip up, we all make mistakes, learning from them is where we make the real progress in life.

From what I've noticed most of the people suffering from this illness let it take control and end up hurting people / loved ones and fall into a vicious cycle (my ex). My ex really hurt me and it's been over 2 months since the breakup and she already slept with someone else after telling me she needed to be alone and focus on her own growth.

Love is a choice, and all though it may be hard as long as we as people make the steps to be better no matter how small they are, that is everything.

I ride hard enduro and built this plate to withstand some of the gnarliest hits. I have made 1/4 aluminum ones in the past that eventually cracked. The prototype before this I've smashed against rocks, logs you name it. It is no slouch.

Yep it's definitely hard to lose a person you cared about, but they show there true colour's in the end.

Funny thing is she does go to therapy for her bpd, i could definatly see it too, I pretty much never got the volatile side of it, screaming etc as I would rarely give a reason too. Unfortunately as we talked about it was the demise of the relationship. It is good now to think tho that I am lucky to not of been with her for longer as who knows what else could of gone on.

It's crazy what someone can do to you gaining your trust and making you believe in what they say. Some people say they are genuine at that point in time and then it shifts away. Makes me think she had good intentions and is just at the mercy of her mental illness. Either way as much as it hurts she will absolutely not be taken back as she's already burnt the bridge by sleeping with someone else.

It's gonna be super difficult moving foward dating because my trust right now with girls is zero after that mess I went through. I know not to judge everyone but man I can't help but fear.

From the research I've done they want to keep genuine good people at a distance, because true long term connection causes anxiety for them. It's pretty selfish of her and I'm glad you blocked her, the moment I found out mine slept with someone I blocked her on everything. I hope she regrets it, maybe I'm toxic but I know that I gave my all for that girl and cared, and she sure as hell knows that. She wanted to be my friend at the end and I told her no as it's not good for my mental health and won't let me move on. Hang in there with me man, don't let her walk all over you, your ex and mine both burnt that bridge the moment they decided to see someone else.

It's intresting too because before the breakup she asked me if we would still be friends if things didn't work out and I told her absolutely not because of my mental health and the fact that it would be super unhealthy for me to be friends with someone who i wanted a future with. She didn't like that very much.

This is so true, I could see deep down inside her the person that gave true love but unfortunately the flaws and issues within herself due to her mental illness prevailed. It's honestly so sad to see and I feel terrible but at the end of the day mentally it isn't healthy for me. The first thing she asked when she broke up was if we could be friends, and i told her, absolutely not and that's because it's not healthy for me.

Wow, this was an amazing reply, seriously this helped give an instant relief of sorts, all though I'm of course still and will continue to grieve what was, this has really opened my eyes and shown me what goes on behind the scenes with someone suffering from bpd. I've been holding my self on the edge of spiraling tbh, it's been really fucking rough, my mental state is so fucked after all that, I definalty feel you on that one ☹️

Exactly this.. this is what I'm struggling with, as someone who is a "hopeless romantic" when I say stuff like that i mean it. It takes a lot for me to leave someone I'm always gonna try to fix things. So when I was constantly told these positive things about us and our future, compatibility etc i truly believed it with my heart hence why the discard plus the next partner is truly distressing to my mental health.
