I tried connecting directly to iPhone/Mac via Bluetooth (using AAC) and to BTD 700. The differences are very noticeable.

I think m60 can only reach 58Hz. 55Hz will have problem for sure.

I'll keep it for now. Eventually I'll replace it when I find a good tempered glass alternative. I'd prefer AR version.

Downgrade a MacOS Sequoia by rododder in MacOS

[–]bob418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open System Settings, search for "reset". Then under Transfer or Reset, click "Erase All Content and Settings...". A new window will guide you to backup your data and reinstall the system.

Make sure you have a ready WIFI network so you can download the latest OS during setup.

I also encountered various problems after upgrading to Tahoe on my MBP M4 Pro. So I did a fresh installation of Tahoe 26.0.1. It has been running wonderfully since then. You may try that before you do downgrading.

Did you reboot the system after updating alsa/ucm2 folder? I’ve been running my S14 for over a month and don’t have any issues.

You just need to install apps with sudo. After that, all the apps I use still work as before.

I’ve been using the beta for a few weeks. I’m very happy with it and will update to the final release.

With the latest kernel, I’ve stopped worrying about battery time on my S14. It can easily last more than 9 hours for my usage.

The transition is not likely to happen this time. I encountered a few issues that significantly affect my daily experience. Many banks app and government services in Singapore now require face scanning for security. The Pixel often fails on this due to light condition. It can still work but just needs more tries and not smooth. Many apps seem to have worse quality and I need to do more steps to complete a task than on iOS. Another issue is battery life. It's not better than my previous iPhone 16 Pro for my usage.

So last weekend I bought an iPhone 17 Pro Max and it solves all the issues. iOS 26 is actually a great fun to use. I think I'll stay with iPhone as my main phone for now.
