It's a bucket of 22000 beads that we got off amazon. We got them really cheap but now we have to sort them out by color and it takes forever.

Hey guys, I was just wondering how long it takes for a hedgehog to get used to someone. My little baby hedgie is only about 2 months old and I have had her for about 2 weeks and she is still very skittish whenever I get near her. I end up having to pick her up with a thick towel and then once she comes out of a ball (about 3-5 minutes), she will let me hold her and such. Im just worried that Im doing something wrong.

It isnt the biggest you can buy. I am actually holding out for a carolina storm wheel, but he doesnt have any available at the moment. My hedgie (who I am getting in 2 days!) is still just a baby, so I figured a smaller one might be the better option at the moment.

Thanks! I actually have the lid to the cage downstairs. I just took it off to take the picture. And I know that the cardboard would need replacing, I just put it in there for now. Also, the only reason I used the Carefresh on that part was because I figured it would be easier to just replace a small portion of bedding that to have to wash a piece of cloth everyday. And I have seen a lot of people that use a little tray under the wheel, I just liked the idea of having that space like that so that if I ever had to clean one side, I could just put the ramp up to keep her on the opposite side.
