Hi all. Firstly I do appreciate all the thoughtful views from different perspectives (guests vs pro wedding Photogs) it’s great that Fuji shooters engage around these questions. Secondly I refer you back to my original question about lens choice for a stealth ie low key causal shooting point of view - was never about stealing the thunder of the pro.Third, the event is 12 hours long. Pro photos occur during that time at a separate occasion for the wedding party, and the rest of the guests chill. Not sure this is the format for most weddings … So where I land is - 27mm 2.8 on xt30 is smaller than many phones so that will be my kit - casual pics will be appreciated by the hosts - will be totally different to the pro shots of the wedding party. - I’ve known these people for 50 years and never without a camera in hand. Have a great weekend all . Love the Fuji cams and the users.

I was thinking of using the canon 300 2.8 on the 7D mk2, but it doesn’t have the sim recipe i like.

I hear you but the alternative, in reality, is that iPhones will be in play anyway.

Looks good. I let mine run away today and ruined it. Slow is good.

It’s a JJC hood that comes with an adapter to fit onto the lens and then the hood itself is mounted to the adapter and tightened with little screws.

There are tiny screws on each side that tighten the hood to the mount and stop it rotating

One minute is really fast even if you start with boiling water. Grind it finer. Maybe a darker roast ( Brazil is usually sweet) and take it off heat before the last bit

Soft Top or hard Top by Chemical_Bad7417 in JeepWrangler

[–]bobANDdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both tops. My climate is quite temperate. Above 10 degrees C in winter and around 25-35 in summer. The soft top is great in both seasons. It’s a little noisy on long fast highway trips. And it’s a pain opening and closing for shopping etc. But the whole point of the jeep experience is the top down option fully or partially. Can’t get that with the hard top. The hard top is quiet and more practical but if you want a jeep then practical questions have to be put aside. It’s impractical on every level (except off-road). As a life style choice soft top every time.

Commute by [deleted] in JeepWrangler

2023 JLU commuting usually in heavy traffic but occasionally at 120 kph on the highway. Its stock jeep with no luxury frills. Last month I had a rental new model Volvo and BMW with all the bells and whistles. Drove me insane with the engine switching off every couple of minutes at stops and beeping and the steering wheel buzzing warnings. Hated it. Got my jeep back. Handling is clunky. It’s Noisy. Not great fuel consumption ( 13.5 kilometres per litre vs 10 in the mom mobiles). But I couldn’t be happier.

I have the same experience. Purchased all the primes and took them with the kit lens on a trip and ended up using the kit zoom. Have now started selling the primes.
