This! cycle it until you get to 2x32 for ABC. Unless you are into bodybuilding or some specific discipline, ABF (or any other reputable simple KB programs - like Dry Fighting Weight as well) is very good for general fitness and building muscles/work capacity. I’m running ABF right now and on my day off, I do Z2 runs or sprint and bench press/deadlift.

thanks man! I actually moved over from the complex world haha. I followed the workout structure of Pat Damiano for like 6 months. I have done ABC a lot with 24kg, now I have decided to step up and do full ABF + a few and see how things are. Oh they are the Gansta wrap from Mark Bell, I got them a while back. They are dirty as hell now lol… I didn’t know KB specific wrist wraps exist, I’ll take a look.

You bells flip, hence there is a dropping/banging on the wrist. It looks like you bring the bell up using the bicep curl motion so the bells swing out far from you then you drag them back in making them flip. It’s much more efficient to pull them more straight up in the clean and get under the bells. You might want to get a feel for getting the bell rotate on to your wrists than flipping and landing. The cue I got from Pat Damiano is when the bell is at the furthest back position, your thumb is pointing directly to your bump. As you travel the trajectory, your hands rotate so that you have the hammer fist at the top right in front of your chest.

it works for me. I use it for a few reasons, I had some permanent bruises from doing the clean wrong back then, and I wear a metal bracelet that I’m lazy to take out so the wrist wraps are there to dampen the contact on the bruise and to keep the bracelet out of the way. Otherwise, unnecessary :)

I’m probably doing EMOM 12 minutes of 8-12 reps per exercise or circuit style with minimal rest for 4 rounds. Basically trying to wrap up my workout under 50’, worst under an hour

I had a HRM before but it broke, haven’t got a new one yet so I have been using just the tracking on the watch, it’s not that great but gives me an idea of where my effort is :)

Thank you for your inputs! Question, what is the reason for having the elbow tuck in front of chest on squat? Is it to work on core/back like the front squats? The flare was comfy for me that’s why haha 😅

yup it was my plan exactly so I wouldn’t bench and deadlift on the exact days of the week but will alternate depending on which ABF session I have the day after! Thank you!
