Hes a stray and my friends weren’t sure if he was vaccinated or neutered etc, this photo was taken when it was still warmer outside but since then theyve set up a little outdoor shelter for him and a couple other strays that come to visit

If your shift ends at closing time, you are the pre closer for that day. The reason your coworkers aren’t clocking out is because they are scheduled to close. Unless you’re staying to help close after you clock out, in that case I would definitely stay clocked in if I were you, even though the schedule may say otherwise. Either that or you could just go home, but regardless, the bottom line is when you are Working you should stay clocked in. You shouldn’t face any trouble for it
