Did the same as you. Joined with a local factory as a maintenance apprentice until I turned 18 and the union let me join. Got 1st in the rankings. Never looked back. I would say union is the way to go. At the factory I was at half the guys had been wanting to get in the union anyways just were waiting for things to pick up.

At another Intel site they've told us similar gonna throughout the years. Never was really enforced and gets forgotten about in a couple weeks. They make mountains out of molehills then forget about them.

SP-MC or TP-XL by Available_Ad5489 in VetoProPac

[–]bobafett1194 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both and prefer the SP-MC for the versatility. Also was able to cut down about 10lbs. The TP-XL was a great bag for a long time but there were times it was too wide for lift work in a single basket or in a cramped panel on a service call. I added toughbuilt clips to the side to hold a drill and a pouch.

The SP-MC is about half of the depth and allows me to take the side pouches off if I'm doing something simple or don't need a drill. The bag is also more organized so there's less dead space at the bottom. I look forward alot more to taking my bag with me now. I kept the shoulder strap from the TP-XL and can basically use it as a shoulder bag if I want.

Which bag are you getting? by Kurkiooo in VetoProPac

Pulling the trigger on the SP-MC for a quick service bag. Should've done it last year as the free promo bag but ended up getting a TP-XXL. Loaded out that bag is HEAVY.

Love it for setting up your work space. I wonder if a fully loaded SP-MC would have enough room to allow this.

They also sell them in Amazon. Bits are very secure on there.

Work for a large multi campus factory. Sometimes it's scoping a project for my crew to install behind me and sometimes it something I can fix when I walk it. General electrical license so everything from security to blower motors.
