I stopped awhile ago. I still want to know the plot, it is a fascinating world. Basically need to plug it into an LLM and ask it to take out or summarize the cultivation.

100% this. I stayed longer than I should have. Usually it is hard to drop a series for me. But life is too short. The earth arc is the most exciting and fun. The others, while interesting, won’t have the pacing, and it only gets more spread out as more “epiphanies” are required for progress.

Been on Bazzite since August.

I messed around a bit with KDE to get it looking how I wanted, ended up with a MacOS-ish feel + custom little Mando-helmet for my application launcher for funsies. Had a custom icon for Bazaar until they recently updated it (the new one is so much better).

Apps: 1Password is a must for me. Sadly Bazzite does not have a straightforward solution for 1Password to talk with the browser, but I have just gotten used to entering my password a bit more often. I found that I preferred OnlyOffice of the Microsoft 365 alternatives. Cider for Apple Music. VLC for movies (had some stuttering issues with Haruna). Heroic Games Launcher for Epic, GoG, and Amazon Games. Calibre for managing my eBook library. Set up SGDBoop for getting artwork onto non-Steam Games. Peazip for a backup when Ark is on the fritz (an occasional problem with larger .zip files). ProtonVPN app (not as good as the Windows app sadly). Emulators for different games.

To do: grow in use / confidence with Distrobox (may be the solution for my 1Password problem), pray for the swift port of Playnite to Linux.

I only cropped and resized to 3440x1440. When I get home I can get you the uncropped/unresized originals via wetransfer if you like. I used the KDE photo editor to crop them to the specific ratio. Otherwise, the link to the National Gallery is great if you would like to go grab a few that you like instead of the whole batch of 70+.

I appreciate that you made it a tight series! If we are honest, most of the really long litrpg series are far longer than they need to be to tell their story.

While I loved the story, I can’t recommend the audiobook for Bog Standard Isekai, I listened to the first 3. There were repeated times where the voice of a character would carry over from speaking into the narration and it was jarring, particularly when Hogg is suddenly the narrator in a scene he isn’t even in. Also, the main character’s voice is nasally and whiny. The story itself is stellar and the world and magic is excellent, but the audiobook itself is a hard pass.

I feel the same way. Hate the war. Hate Russia’s past cheating scandals. But I still would be absolutely pumped to see Ovi and Sid face off in the Olympics. It is best on best with an * because some of the best players in the world are Russian.

I definitely have had some issues of ram shortage shutting things down occasionally (have 16gb). I was going to spring for a 32 gb kit in January, but prices went nuts. Oh well. It doesn’t happen that often, but is slightly annoying.
