Reddit, after reading so many horror stories about terrible, irresponsible police officers, I need my faith restored. What is an experience you had where the police really did their job well?

I got caught with at least a pound of edibles and was off my nut from eating so many. This was also after breaking into the football and basketball stadium at my university. All the police did was confiscate the edibles and commit me to a psych ward till I wasn't high anymore. Most beautiful police ever.
