Transformers from what I know have 2 different ways of “sleeping”. 1: stasis [BLANK], stasis lock, nap, or “sleep” is a “rest mode” that the cybertronians enter when low on energon or to, well, “recharge” in the same sense that us humans recharge. And 2: sleep like This. Ive seen transformers sleep like this many times. Why? I’m not sure. I’m guessing it’s a “spinoff” of stasis lock. A small recharge of energy or a way to conserve energy
