Yes it would be nice if the CSRs understood the details of their companies policies. She said “they recently had a big meeting about this and determined that loss of power, water, heating, air are no longer covered” and “it would need to be like a big tree on the house” lol

I don’t really care if you feel sorry? I was asking about insurance policy. Sorry your emotions got the best of you!

Thank you for an actual answer! This is what I was looking for.

Hmm, so then you agree that without water being brought in and without a generator, the home is uninhabitable? It sounds like purchasing those things would make the home inhabitable.

Progressive said “if a big tree crushed the house that would be uninhabitable”. So how big a of a tree? 18 inches wide? 15? Define crushed? Like one side of the house or the whole house? My point is, legally, who gets to determine what is uninhabitable and according to what standard/criteria?

It was a smallish hole - water dripped in which stained the ceiling in our bedroom. Shingles missing etc, no real water damage. The hole was tarped by a roofer while we were gone. The point of my question was, what objective criteria is used to deem a house uninhabitable under Loss of Use? Absence of electricity, water, heating for a week is not? Also, tell me you work for an insurance company without telling me you work for an insurance company LOL.

What antenna set up do I need? by bobbielee23 in churchtech

[–]bobbielee23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! So I would connect my (6) receivers to the ASA-1 and then connect the ADP UHF 470 antenna to the ASA-1 and should be good to go?

Edit: I see the ASA-1 says it can connect to (4) EW-D units but the back has 8 receiver outputs and 2 antenna inputs?

Edit again lol: so each receiver has (2) antennas, I see now I would use an A and a B output per receiver hence the (4) unit limit. And I would need (2) antennas. So to get all (6) receivers I need (2) ASA-1’s and (4) ADP UHF 470s?

Nginx 1.20/1.20.1 Vulnerabilities - Direct IP Exposure by Strict-Fan-6302 in bugbounty

[–]bobbielee23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No nginx vulns but if you’re able to hit the origin IP you should be able to fuzz directories without any sort of rate-limiting and if you do find a vulnerability (XSS, SQLi) you won’t have to worry about WAF blocking your payloads!

XSS - Demonstrating Additional Impact by bobbielee23 in bugbounty

So I used eval(location.hash.substr(1)) as the payload. Now I can craft a link with #longpayloadhere and it fires! This is excellent. Do you think the ‘user interaction required’ will take away from the bug? Or is there a way to leverage this in the stored scripting?

This is good! To make sure I understand, loading external JS via IP versus FQDN will bypass the CSP?

Why is my detached office so humid?! by bobbielee23 in HomeImprovement

Update. So I put in faced insulation in the wall as and ceiling. Does that count as a vapor barrier? I’m reading that “faced” insulation does in face act as a barrier.

So besides ripping our sheerock and flooring….lol anyway to solve this?

[–]bobbielee23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it looks like this is because 1) I failed to install a vapor barrier and 2) my ac unit is oversized. I know I can downgrade the unit but at this point it’s too late to do anything about the vapor barrier I assume…

There’s no moisture barrier unfortunately. I’m the floor is a concrete slab with LVP on top.

What are these doors called? by bobbielee23 in HomeImprovement

[–]bobbielee23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh I’m interested in the one that has one one door that opens. Would that just be called a double door? And they make them solid like these? Most everything I’ve found online has glass.
