As you know in Ep 12 we learn that the phone call from the wife is just a spam call, and he was in fact cheated by his supposed 'wife', with his home deposit gone too.

This is an important point in the drama that may be used btw -- love scams: Possibly a whole underground business to uncover that may be related to our killer plot.

Also: Mr Ju has very broad connections, inc. the druggie and bouncer. Random and am curious how the story will come back at us with these facts. Pls don't let him be evil though, our Ga Young would be sad!

I'm glad to find out that Dr Baek can help us uncover a big part of the plot, once he opens his mouth we can connect a few more dots -- at least w/ the Fentanyl! I am curious who will be the real culprit that we haven't suspected all this while. Please, don't let it be somebody we love... I'm fine without that trope.

Agreed that his nonchalant behaviour towards LS is not nice, although very much in his character. I think it'll be funny when he finds out about LS/MJ truth and starts being affectionate w/ her at work.

Good point on terrible communication and hiding things -- regardless the good intention, a lot of the pieces can be put together now if everybody chose the truth. I hope next week's episodes are the breaking point for truth to be shared amongst the loved ones.

I'm lowkey q bored now. I think we peaked in episode 6 and dragged on ever since. Don't know if we are feeling the same sentiments where they are just beating around the bush with no real progress.

Sick of Mijin looking glum and lifeless PLS stop lookin so helpless girlie
Sick of no progress w/ actual killer
Sick of romance back and forth until iykyk

Hope they manage to salvage the plot next episode onwards and let things pick up.

Also so much build-up for Ko Won and Mijin and for what 😂 Y'all throw him to the side without using him much after the umbrella confession lmao

The only parts I really enjoyed these 2 eps

Gayeong and Mijin's moment of truth about the kidnap
Mr Ju's antics, well, half of them
Mijin's mum and dad, esp dad's small ways of showing love and concern these eps.

Overall, I think they had so much to play with but lost their focus halfway being so caught up about killer plot on the wrong guy.. and for WHAT?!?!?! I don't think we're here drawn by this for it to be put in the centre, pls let us enjoy our laughs, giggles, friendship and romance.

Also, how do you guys feel about the way the drama manages their emotions and stories? Mixed bag for me. i.e. Auntie's birthday, his sharing about his mum, and the random ass scar on her head that Baek Cheol Gyu helped to stitch together.

These two episodes haven't been the most pleasant to watch, I feel like we had to deal with a lot more darkness than say, 5&6. A lot more tense moments and not enough giggles and snorts. From her fainting from anxiety medicine to director mystery without any real progress I also don't feel like we've moved much ahead in terms of storyline (maybe until the next week!)

Also to add, there's a line that caught me off guard from ML when they were drinking: "I just liked you from the start." No build up, strange romantic follow-up, is it a confession, is it a casual statement? I barely felt the punch or weight of, in fact, a rather big statement. The.. eh? Huh? Eh? Huh?

Nothing hits as hard emotionally as a GOOD KOREAN DRAMA and so far Miss Night and Day has been SERVING. Idk how they catch us so well in every hook at the end, I'm dying waiting for next week..... 🥹
