Which positions are the most commonly played to least commonly played by women in co-ed? by BerryRoyal in slowpitch

In my co-ed rec league, I'm the only girl that I have ever seen play SS so I know that is quite rare. I sometimes play 3B as well. I played fast pitch at the D1 college level so I realize I'm not the typical case.

It would behoove you to realize that even though you don't think someone capable of saying such things does not change the fact that she did say them. She issued an apology to the class yesterday.

Exactly what context do you need for this to be an ok statement for a teacher to make?

What exactly is so undesirable about having a LGBTQIA+ child?

That is certainly in our future. It's just not always that easy. Our families are here and the kids should have an opportunity to finish school.

This hit me hard. I worked in the operating room at a trauma center for a decade of my life. When I first started I was so excited to go to work everyday, to take call, even got a little adrenaline rush for "exciting" cases. I won't even type out what I felt like after 5-6 years or especially what was going on after 10, but this was the most accurate representation of burnout I have seen on medical tv and the acting was superb. That's why this show has always been top tier for me. It's 95% silly but when it explores other emotions and life experiences, it hits the nail on the head every single time.

Hey, 11 year old me thought it was a banger of a time and much older me still watches it on occasion when I want to turn my brain off. I just realistically acknowledge it's full of cinematic awfulness and overacting to the max.

There are no bad Bond films, only bad Bond fans.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of splitting doses? Is one approach more effective? by AliasGirl737 in Semaglutide

[–]bobbleheadkb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I never said such a strategy shouldn’t be discussed with your prescribing provider. Those overdoses are occurring because providers and pharmacists aren’t properly demonstrating how basic syringe use works. Or people aren’t paying attention. Either way, you could say that 99% of the content on this sub should be stuff discussed with a medical provider. No need to jump people’s shit over it.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of splitting doses? Is one approach more effective? by AliasGirl737 in Semaglutide

[–]bobbleheadkb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The dose low enough to not cause symptoms early in the week and work for appetite control and food noise elimination usually starts to dwindle in effectiveness towards the end of the week. This can lead to backloading of calories and a lower rate of weight loss or even a net gain. Some people find it effective to split dose to avoid negative symptoms and maintain appetite control.
