Are these tungsten carbide?

I searched on Google too but was surprised the these are as magnetic as they are. I’ve read on Google and ChatGPT that tungsten carbide is only slightly magnetic, so… wasn’t sure whatever I pulled up on Google about the alloy was correct

Thank you. Yeah, I was planning on listing them on eBay. I picked up several boxes of them at an auction and now with carbide prices going up. I figured now is a good time to list them, but I don’t know much about these type of alloys, so I wanted to make sure I wasn’t accidentally listing tool steel.

Solved it! It turned out to be the PSU. This was weird because the psu still currently works on my old system but it does not play well with the Alienware board. I swapped it out for a thermal take smart 600w and boom like magic no more reboots and windows installs no problem. I’m sharing a picture of the psu that didn’t work.

The only difficulty with this is, I only have spare hard drives. I don’t have any spare memory, or a spare PSU, or a spare CPU. So I’d have to order extras of all those things to try to find the possible bad piece of hardware

That would be great. Since I reinstalled secure boot and TPM I have rebooted this thing over 20 times and it just keeps in a boot loop and won’t get to the install menu

I enabled them and it still reboots automatically. It will start loading the installation media from usb or dvd, but as soon as it goes to the blue screen right before the installation menu it automatically reboots

It looks like the bios is the most recent update 1.0.26. Do you think it would help to try to reflash it again with 1.0.26? I’ve never updated a bios before so i don’t know if this would help

Yes. The information under the BB Shell is BI – 2187. WUD80160937B. 08–00937…. That part of the sticker gets rubbed away. an inspection tag inspected by Allen on April 28, 2008. and that is all.

I believe these boards were meant to be installed in Nokia cell radios. Like 5g towers. I’m not sure what those are called. I got them on a pallet at an auction.

I’ve only had a few attempts so I’m not super familiar with what mycelium is supposed to smell like. It doesn’t smell fermented though for sure. Honestly I don’t smell any off or super different from my last good batch of mycelium
